DECKED 2010

This is the skate deck i customized for this years Decked Project.
I wasnt so happy with it but the photo is quite forgiving .
There were so many awsome boards it was really great to be a part of it
the exhibition is on till the 29th of august at the Coningsbury Gallery in the west end so you still have time to go see it !! :)

TINGA TINGA TALES

For the past two years i've been working as an art director in Kenya for a show called Tinga Tinga Tales for Tiger Aspect.. The style is inspired by The art of the late Edward Saidi Tingatinga who's style is continued today by the Tingatinga art co-operative of dar es Salaam Tanzania. Here are a few images i did for the show . series two will be out in the UK soon and the Kenyan premier is this sunday (august 13th 2010) ...

Radio Acdemy

I painted this wall for the Radio Academy next to where i work. Same old thing, Masking tape and a paint roller. This time i used a piece of string to get my vanishing point and perspective lines.

3 Seconds Of Peace....

Every month in Nairobi a bunch of Musicians, MCs and artists get together and make a day of doin what they do for the public. It was great to see some amazing graphiti by the Wapi guys. This month they were kind enough to give me a piece of the wall. I had a great time. Thanks guys. shame its getting covered over in a week :)

I should also mention that its not supposed to be a self portrait although some thought it was. Easy mistake to make but i wonder what that says about me considering its actually based on a photograph i saw of an excavated corpse that still had the beard intact.
